Fresh site, SEO ready
Any new site created by WebDuke is prepared for SEO from the start. We believe it is best that a site is as optimised as possible before launch in order to begin ranking for the correct search terms from the start. A good beginning can help new startups get the boost they need to begin building brand awareness.
Much effort was made to enable a well designed and working e-commerce site
Madd for Cakes relies on its online site to sell its products. It is the most important part of the company other than its cakes! With this in mind, all focus was on making the site function with a shop, payment gateways and the ease of use for the owner to add and update new products to the site.
Modern payment Gateway support
Madd for Cakes would need card and bank payment supports. We added in Amazon Pay, Stripe and BACS support to enable multiple choices - as well as pay by cash on collection. This allows any potential customer an option to pay how they want to, with whatever method they desired.

Story of Madd For Cakes design

Madd For Cakes needed everything, including a logo. Luckily WebDuke can do Graphic Design too!

Madd for Cakes needed a shop front, which was where WordPress's WooCommerce came in handy allowing a fully searchable and responsive shop layout and integrated payment gateway support.

A modern e-commerce supporting website was needed, to showcase the cakes and cupcakes that the business would be offering. A premium theme was selected and adapted for use, and new material and media was also required.

A full blog was also enabled for the site to allow Madd for Cakes to post updates, highlight products and raise awareness of events and promotions. Full social support was also integrated.
